Vanessa is 18 she is amazing and she doesn't realize it she is to busy hiding behind her brain and friends to accept that she has so much more to give but when her security blankets aka her grandpa and best friends "die" she is plunged into a world of intrigue and lies and she will have to trust the person keeping the most from her but when she finds out that everything she thought she knew was a lie can she learn to depend on herself and live up to her name

Texas

So I am in Texas now be home on Wednesday and it is awesome here I love the golf carts and going on the lake plus i get to hang out with family more oh and i learned how to play poker hee hee hee they are so corrupting me up here! it rained a couple of times and it rained hard but nice and hot now we are going on the lake soon. Oh and I'M ALMOST FIFTEEN yay!

Italy

here is an idea I had while driving through Texas in the rain (so technically i wasn't the driver but whatever) So this is two short stories put together in one book telling of two peoples experiences. First: Lilly is a total prep she is in every club and she is spending a month in Italy to help her future. Second: emily wants nothing more than to be a cowgirl and she is spending a month in Texas to prove it. When these girls plane tickets get switched, emily ends up in italy and lilly ends up in italy, Texas. these girls get anew appreciation for the world around them and they both learn more about themselves

poem

So a couple of weekss ago I submitted one of my poems and the contest is almost over I am so nervous cause it's like a big contest and I'm questioning my sending the poem in and whether it was a wise decision I'm so nervous and it's the first time I've ever really put my writing that far out there. For some reason I just can't think of my writing as good and I don't know what to do

This is my version of a Harry Potter follow up series and since I have no intention of anyone real seeing it here it is or at least the outline

Elizabeth just turned 11 and her world was flipped around that is what happens when you and your parents find out you are somehow well magic so she heads to Hogwarts where she immediately takes a liking to Albus Potter and Rose Weasley she becomes good friends with them Rose an awful lot like Harry, Albus like Ron, and Elizabeth a whole lot like her unknown aunt hermoine the teachers all notice these likenesses although they are not to worried until an accident strands the children in the worst possible situation with a man who not only knows to much about magic but wants to control it I put all 7 years in one story cause frankly I just didn't want to think about horrible things that could happen if I took the time to tell in detail all 7 years

Some one great once said a good writer writes what they know as a good painter paints what they see a good player plays what they hear and life is what it is well I have only ever wanted to be a writer my biggest problem now is I don't know much

Epilogue

So Back to that quote I have a few things to tell that great man if a great writer writes what they know then how do we have stories like Harry Potter, Twilight, and Dragon flight I doubt J.K. Rowling knew a wizard, a good painter can also imagine and if a good player played what they heard we would never have new kinds of music plus if life was just how it seemed that would be boring. So my edited version of the quote: A good writer writes what they want to know, a good painter paints what they want to see, a good player plays what they want to hear, and life is never as it seems

Ham and Britt are looking for a new house that takes dogs

Andy and Whit are getting more and more animals in their zoo

Charbear is cleaning and texting nonstop again oh and she has a date

I am trying to not be too nervous about my summer plans and making myself write those summeries Amanda wants plus I am completely excited for my family reunion and Lorinda's visit

Drock is still being a hyper child his ankle healed and he wants to do all kinds of stuff this summer

so yeah that is what we are all up too I am going to try and post what we're doing at least once a month we'll see how that works:)
